(NewsBreakDaily.org) – President Donald Trump has been on the hydroxychloroquine bandwagon since the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic that has America by the throat. On May 18, the president said he’s taking the medication to help prevent contracting the virus. And then — the war of words erupted. Naturally.
By and large, the debate was divided along Conservative and Liberal ideological lines. Commentators from the Right were more likely to give a virtual shrug of their shoulders, reminding everyone the president is an adult. And perhaps, they pointed out the fact that part of the Progressive Agenda is to foster the idea that Americans need a nanny-state.
The media’s attack on @realDonaldTrump for saying he’s taking #hydroxychloroquine proves they have no faith in INDIVIDUALS to make their own, informed, medical decisions. They want to decide EVERYTHING for the masses! Options, discussion, and individual freedom NOT allowed.

But then, we have Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) saying — in what must have been her attempt to be witty — she was concerned for his health because side effects could dangerous for someone of his age who is also “morbidly obese.”
One of the news sites that’s been hypercritical of the president accused him of self-medicating without consulting a doctor. However, a memo from his doctor — US Navy Cmdr. Sean Conely, MD — confirms they’ve numerous talks and are on the same page.
When the Progressive Liberals ignore a group of doctors practically begging the governor of Arizona to reverse his ban on the drug, or an article in the New England Journal of Medicine about their “observational study,” people need to start asking: is their true motivation helping people or stealing the White House in November?
At least satire sites like the Babylon Bee and The Onion can help us keep a bit of a sense of humor about it. And that is sorely needed.
