(NewsBreakDaily.org) – Earlier this week, the press reported a noose was found in NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace’s garage at Talladega Superspeedway. The media was quick to run with this story and label it a “hate crime” because Wallace is black. Well, it turns out there was no noose. There was no hate crime.
The object found in Wallace’s garage was determined to be a pull rope for a garage door. It had been there since at least October 2019, meaning it had nothing to do with the black driver.
1. Statement from the FBI…

Some people were quick to sprint to social media to say this situation is just like the fake Jussie Smollett case. But the only thing these events have in common is the press ran with a story about racism and got it all wrong.
Unlike Smollett, Wallace did nothing wrong. He wasn’t the one who found the rope, nor was he the one who reported it to the police. Wallace spoke out against what he thought was a hate crime, but he was only responding to what NASCAR told him.
