Mail-In Voting Fraud is Real

Mail-In Voting Fraud is Real

( – As we draw closer to the presidential election in November, one of the biggest issues facing the country is how to vote during this COVID-19 pandemic. It should come as no surprise that the pro-lockdown Democrats are desperate to have mail-in voting while the Conservative side realizes that that method is rife for corruption. And at least one Liberal media hack has stayed true to their philosophy and done a complete 180-degree turn.

The Miraculous Turnaround

In 2016, the far-Left website Slate published an article that explained that in-person voting fraud is extraordinarily rare. However, referencing an article by Rick Hansen, they pointed out the perils of the mail-in system. In his 2014 Reuters article he opined, “it is easy to find cases throughout the country every year of fraud or attempted fraud with absentee ballots.” But checking his Twitter feed, his more recent statements extol the virtues.

This is one of the more blatant examples of Progressive Liberals placing their agenda above honesty and consistency. These convenient memory lapses have to be a symptom of their Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) and their obsession with getting him out of the White House. Since the president is adamantly opposed to an unfettered vote by mail scheme, it should come as no surprise that the Lefties would be in favor.

Judicial Activism Rears Its Ugly Head

US District Judge Fred Bierly who sits on the bench in Texas and was a Bill Clinton appointee has decided that his opinion should trump (pun intended) both state law and the lawsuits wending their way through the local courts. One pundit labeled him a wannabe philosopher-king and took him to task for the overreaching and pontificating language in his ruling.

The judge wrote “[t]he Court finds the Grim Reaper’s scepter of pandemic disease and death is far more serious than an unsupported fear of voter fraud…” Yes, a federal judge actually wrote that in his opinion. Fortunately, the Texas attorney general has elected not to enforce the order until appeals can be made.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg recently wrote a unanimous decision against the Ninth Circuit and slapped them down for making things up as they go along. When the nine black robes in DC who are usually split along the same conservative/liberal ideologies as the rest of the country unite as one, one would think that the lower courts would get the message. Apparently, one would be wrong.
