(NewsBreakDaily.org) – When someone says illegal immigrants aren’t a threat to our safety, tell them this story.
A 20-year-old man, who’s in the country illegally, has been charged with the assault of an 11-year-old girl in Maryland.
Jonathan Coreas-Salamanca, 20, was arrested on Feb. 13 at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring — where he is a student. Ivan Reyes Lopez, 19, was also arrested this month at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. Both men have been charged with forcibly violating the little girl.
According to authorities, Coreas-Salamanca is a citizen of El Salvador and is not in the US legally.
US Customs Enforcement (ICE) Spokeswoman Kaitlyn Pote said ICE is holding Coreas-Salamanca on a detainer for allegedly assaulting the young girl.
The victim’s father contacted authorities when he discovered explicit text messages between Coreas-Salamanca and his daughter that described their encounters in graphic detail. There were also disturbing photos. Future meetups between the two had been already arranged as well.
